Mary Kathryn Monday, mezzo-soprano, is thrilled to be performing with VLOG again this season after appearing as Fleta in Iolanthe! Last year, Mary Kathryn returned to VLOG in Hey Old Friends! Remembering Sondheim and enjoyed an active year of performing including a solo recital of songs about NYC, selections of Lisa DeSpain’s new operas That Hell-Bound Train and Staggerwing, and several performances with Opera on Tap. She has an affinity for French music as well as American theater repertoire from Porter to Sondheim! In her free time, Mary Kathryn enjoys going to performances, practicing yoga, reading, and spending quality time with her cat, Plàcido, at home on the Upper West Side.
