Kimberly Milburn, mezzo-soprano, is excited to be making her company debut with the Village Light Opera. Recent appearances include Ericlea in Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria, Giunone (cover) in the same, Sor Rafaela (cover) in the professional premiere of Juana, and selections from Carmen in concert, all with the dell'Arte Opera Ensemble, and Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte with the New York Lyric Opera. She made her film debut last year in the Bronx Opera’s Trial by Jury and was cast as Ludmila in their now-canceled outreach performance of The Bartered Bride.
Kimberly was previously a sommelier and made her New York debut in 2019. From 2020-2022 she studied acting at HB Studio and at the Lee Strasberg Institute. Recent concert appearances include Serenade to Music and Bach’s Cantata BWV 31 (both with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra), Chailley’s Suite du XVe Siècle, and a concert at the REACH at Kennedy Center with the Asian American Music Society.
