Charlotte Detrick

THERESE

Charlotte Detrick is a soprano noted for her wide vocal range and comic abilities. Detrick performed for many years with the New York City Opera during that company's tenure at Lincoln Center, and was featured in their Emmy award-winning "Live from Lincoln Center" telecast of Madama Butterfly. Favorite roles include Marguerite in Faust, Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, the title role in Suor Angelica, the title role in Francesca da Rimini, Nedda in Pagliacci, Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore at NJPAC, and recently the Mother in Hansel and Gretel at the Narnia Festival. This past May she sang as Soloist with Vince Clarke (of Depeche Mode fame) at the release party for his new album "Songs of Silence" at National Sawdust.
