Lalo Cavali

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Originally from Brazil, Lalo appeared in productions of Grease and A Kate Me Quis, a showcase that mixed the stories of Kiss Me, Kate and Anything Goes, then in 2016, moved to New York City. He joined The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2019, where he trained in their Integrated Musical Theatre Program. He performed in showcases directed by Jim Elliott, Keith Andrews and Diane Ciesla, performing a selection of songs and scenes from shows Flying Over Sunset, Nine, Something Rotten!, The Inheritance and Farragut North.

With VLOG, Lalo’s been a revolutionary trying to survive to see the day after that, a struggling actor who just wants a chance to let everyone know who he was, an artist trying to finish his hat, a peer who wants the trumpets to bray loudly, an old man going after his major award, and a grieving man who cannot get over the loss of his lover.

But this time he’s taking on a different role. Ever since 2023, Lalo’s been responsible for designing all the graphic arts and advertisement for VLOG's productions, including Iolanthe, VLOG Does the Tonys 2, A Gentleman's Guide for Love & Murder, A Tale of Two Cities, and now The Baker's Wife. And after moving to Atlanta in 2023, he couldn’t be more excited to continue his journey with VLOG all the way from the south.
