Marquis St. Evermonde

Tyler Parker is thrilled to be back with the Village Light Opera Group and relishes the opportunity to assume the villainous role of the Marquis in this production of A Tale of Two Cities.

This production breaks his long streak of Gilbert and Sullivan roles, which in 2023 included Sir Roderic (Ruddigore) at the International G&S Festival (nominated for best male voice), the Pirate King (The Pirates of Penzance) with the Blue Hill Troupe, and Private Willis (Iolanthe) with VLOG. The last time he played a Frenchman was as The Prince of Monte Carlo (The Grand Duke) at the International G&S Festival 2022, though luckily, you are all spared that accent for this character.

Tyler is grateful for the love and support of his wife, Laura, and their daughter, Aurora, as well as for the support of all family, friends, and cast members who have made his participation in this production possible.
