Judith Weis

Judy has been singing choruses in public most of her life. As a long-time member of VLOG, the Ridgewood G&S Opera Company, and the Savoynet Performing Group (which performs in England at the Internationals G&S Festival) she has sung the entire G&S repertoire, including Thespis. She has also sung in musicals such as Fiorello, The Most Happy Fella, and The Music Man, and operettas including The Merry Widow (Lehar), Die Fledermaus (Strauss), La Perichole, and Orpheus in the Underworld (Offenbach). With Amore Opera (under the leadership of the late wonderful Nathan Hull, also of VLOG), she's sung in grand operas such as La Traviata, La Boheme, Carmen, and l'Elisir d'Amore. She currently sings in the Choral Society at Grace Church and the Central City Chorus. In real life she is a marine biologist at Rutgers University, specializing in the NY/NJ Harbor Estuary.
