COVID-19 policy

As we excitedly prepare our 2022-23 season, VLOG, in alignment with the Broadway League policies, is implementing the following COVID protocols:

Vaccination Status

For the foreseeable future, and until further notice, participation in a VLOG event, be it as an audience member, performer, artistic staff, or backstage volunteer, will require proof of vaccination.  Under this policy, all will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine in order to attend or participate in a show, and must show proof of vaccination the first time they enter either a rehearsal or performance space. “Fully vaccinated” means this date must be at least 14 days after the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, or a single-dose vaccine.

The following will be accepted as proof of full vaccination:

- Vaccination card; OR

- The Excelsior pass; OR

- A photo of the vaccination card held on a phone or storage device; OR

- Documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider, electronic health record or state            Immunization Information System record.

- Matching government-issued photo ID will also be required.

Self reported vaccination records that are not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted.

Vaccine Exemptions

Exemptions from the vaccination portion of the COVID-19 policy for audience members will be made for the following:

- Children under 12; OR

- people with a medical condition which precludes them from receiving a vaccine.

Individuals who meet one or both of the above criteria MUST provide the results of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the performance start time.

The Following are acceptable as proof of a negative COVID-19 test result:

printed document (from the test provider or laboratory); OR

- an email or text message displayed on a phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory.

- the information provided must include name of person tested, type of test performed, and date of negative test result.

- Matching government-issued photo ID will also be required at the door.

Antigen tests cannot be accepted. Self-reported negative test results that are not from a test provider, laboratory, or a health care provider cannot be accepted.

Mask Policy

Masks will be required for the audience at all performances and rehearsals, regardless of vaccine status, except while performing, or eating or drinking in designated areas. As per public health guidelines, masks are not required for children under the age of 2.

Distancing Policy

The protocols outlined in this plan allow VLOG to operate at full capacity in its respective venues, and as such, we will not be implementing distancing policies.

Risk Assumption

All members and patrons understand that there is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Those participating in, and attending VLOG productions voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Ticket Purchases

Tickets for "HEY, OLD FRIENDS" will be on sale the week of May 9th. They will only be available for purchase on line, or at the door on the day of the show. There will be no physical tickets given.

Refund Policies

Patrons who are not feeling well, are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, or have had or been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days, should not come to a VLOG event. If you are unable to attend a performance, you are encouraged to contact VLOG.

These policies will remain in place until such time that prevailing scientific guidance allows for a relaxation of certain policies.
