Charlotte Detrick (Mrs. Segstrom) has many illustrious credits to her name, including dancing in a video for MTV (remember MTV?) for a song that never became a bit, winning a Lon Chaney look-a-like contest, and placing as a finalist in the Miss Miami Beauty Contest (the same year as the Lon Chaney contest). Other credits include eighteen years singing at Lincoln Center with the New York City Opera in many different productions, including two while six months pregnant, thanks to an expanding kimono. Charlotte counts as her greatest contribution to the musical world her composer son Zachary, a Juilliard grad whose composition "Puck's Fantasy" was commissioned for and performed by the NY Philharmonic while he was still only fifteen.
