Barry has been a longtime member of the VLOG community, having first appeared in Starship Pinafore in 2000. In the years since that time, Barry has performed in almost 20 V.L.O.G. productions, often serving as the prop master; has served as a producer for 2 shows; and served on the VLOG Board. In years past, Barry served as a member of the committee that recommended show choices. He always promoted a Sondheim musical so he could be in one. That happened when he appeared as Cinderella’s Father in 2018. Now, for his 26 th year with VLOG, he gets another bite of the Sondheim apple in a role he always dreamed of: 4 th Man. Other favorite V.L.O.G. roles include: the Rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof; Don Issachar in Candide; and Max in The Most Happy Fella, where he shared the stage with his daughter, Genna. A retired NYC teacher and administrator, his life is filled with his love for theater and concerts; his two daughters; and sa copine, Judi. He thanks his family and friends for their support.
