Lorenzo Pipino

A New York-based writer, performer, and music director, Lorenzo Pipino holds his MFA in Musical Theatre Composition from NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program and his BM in Voice and Musical Theatre from Northwestern University, where he also concentrated in musical theater writing and music direction. He is thrilled to be joining VLOG for the first time as the MD for Tale of Two Cities. At NYU, he developed his thesis musical THE ANGEL MAKERS. THE ANGEL MAKERS has had staged readings at the Abrons Arts Center as part of the Abrons Series (August 2023), NYU Graduate Acting (March 2024), and Western Connecticut State University (May 2024). The Angel Makers will receive its off-Broadway staged premiere through the SheNYC Arts Festival this summer. His original musical CHANGE MY MIND was developed by the American Musical Theatre Project and the Dolphin Show at Northwestern University. Lorenzo is currently developing several projects, like @theangelmakersmusical.
