Pallas Gutierrez is a lighting designer, writer and teaching artist from New York, NY. Pallas attained a Bachelor of Arts at Northwestern University. They are currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing through the University of California, Riverside. A Tale of Two Cities is Pallas’s first lighting design project since graduation. Pallas has been thinking about A Tale of Two Cities since they saw it on Broadway in 2008 and wrote a ten-page paper on the novel in high school, and they are grateful to Kelsey, Jessica, and the VLOG Team for the opportunity to bring their many ideas to life. “It was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity…”
